How it works

A simple comparison flow, with clearer football context

SharedPitch is built around one rule for the MVP: if both players appeared in the same match, they shared the pitch.

Type the names of two footballers you want to compare, or start with one of the sample pairings.

SharedPitch checks overlaps

The comparison logic looks for matches where both players appeared in the same fixture.

Results split by relationship

If both appeared for the same side, they are counted as teammates. If they appeared for opposite sides, they are counted as opponents.

Real data integration is next

This public MVP currently runs on demo data while live football data, better search, and deeper match detail are being integrated.
